My sweetie and I agree on lots of things. Politics, economics, parenting, religion, and all the other BIG debates aren’t a problem for us, but when it comes to the little things, we are sometimes exact opposites.
I think cookies should be chewy, he prefers crunchy.
I’m a book girl, he would rather read the newspaper.
I like to keep the house locked tight, he doesn’t like carrying keys all the time.
I prefer to sleep with lots of blankets, he likes to sleep with the windows open.
Vacation is another example.
This is my husband’s idea of vacation:
Not exactly my style. I can’t imagine the idea of spending a week of building, sweating, and working, and being able to call it “relaxing.” To him, this is fun. It is what makes life enjoyable.
I’m kinda’ the other end of the spectrum. This is my end of the same vacation:
I’m more of a swing/read/explore/nap kind of vacationer. The good news is that we were able to get a bit of both built into the last few weeks.

His & Hers vacation
I love the colors of the boat picture.
It looks like everyone got to enjoy. Great post!!
