Very real and very beautiful. We were lucky enough to have 4 of these guys walking around outside our hotel. The kids even named them; Spot, Freckle, Long Neck, and Cutie. I couldn’t tell one from another, but they claimed to know which was which at all times.
Currently my oldest daughter’s favorite animal! I’ll have to share this with her! (Were you, by any chance, at DisneyWorld? If so, let me know the next time you go! I leave meeting blogging buddies and am close enough that we go up for day trips often!
We were! I knew you were in FL because of your hurricane posts, but had no idea you were that close. We end up in that area every once in a while for conferences at the Gaylord, but this time we had the absolute pleasure of going just for fun and staying in AK Kidani. I’ll pm you the next time I’m in town.
BTW – I was walking through Epcot and thinking up all sorts of amazing lesson we could do if only we lived close enough. I have to admit that I’m jealous of you.
I love this picture! (and given my blog’s name, I’m sure you’re not suprised ;) ) I’ll have to try to convince my hubby that we should stay in that hotel for our next trip to Disney! Glad you enjoyed the trip :)
Oh my goodness ~ that is beautiful!! I’ve always LOVED Giraffe!! It almost doesn’t even look real, does it?? They are gorgeous creatures.

Is that a mini giraffe? Cool!
Nope – I’ve never even heard of a mini giraffe. I don’t think there is such a thing.
It is full grown, but we were up on a balcony, thus the high camera angle. It really was cool!
Amazing! I can’t even imagine having such a great view. :)
Welcome back. ☺
Gorgeous! What an experience – your kids must have been thrilled. Hope the adjustment back to reality isn’t too brutal!

No fair!! I wanna be able to watch a giraffe!! I bet the kids simply loved it!! Now your home just in time for snow woohoo
We froze our tails off while there – no snow, but 35 degrees is 35 degrees, no matter how you try to sugar-coat it.
