I’ve always wondered why driving was considered a “boy-thing.”
After attempting to drive in petticoats, I think I may have a bit more insight into the issue. Our grandmothers are deserving of some serious respect. (more photos of my crazy dress-up history class here)

I guess it’s good that hoop skirts were out of fashion when cars were on the rise ~ even being a passenger would be a challenge.
